Home / COVID-19 UPDATE

Updated May 2023 COVID-19 UPDATE – To Our Valued Patients: At South Florida Acupuncture Associates, we take your personal health and safety very seriously.

You may still have some concerns about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and we wanted to put your mind at ease with some of these basic tips to stay healthy:
Hand-washing is your best self-defense against the spread of germs. As a backup, you can also use antibacterial hand sanitizer.
Help us by being vigilant. If you have traveled anywhere there are outbreaks of the virus, please follow guidance on the CDC website.

While we always adhere to strict cleanliness guidelines in each of our offices, here are additional things we are doing to keep our offices clean and safe:
We advise all staff members and patients to wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, particularly after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing their nose, coughing or sneezing or touching common objects (door handles, hand rails, money etc.) When in doubt, wash or sanitize your hands.
Continue to clean each treatment room before and after each patient.
• Continue to use single use, sterilized, surgical grade acupuncture needles.
• Any staff members who are ill will be sent home.

We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19 and we encourage you and your families to do so as well. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies and public health officials, and we will update you as new information becomes available.

We are committed to making our offices a safe, healthy and enjoyable place for all. Whether you have been in recently or it’s been awhile since your last treatment, we are encouraging all of our patients to come in for immune enhancing treatments to help you continue to stay healthy.

Thank you for being such a valued member of our South Florida Acupuncture Associates family.

Yours in Better Health,

South Florida Acupuncture Associates
